The Jigsaw murders have been solved (or so everyone thinks) and Detective Mark Hoffman has been promoted to Lieutenant for his efforts in cracking the case. Agent Strahm has a sneaking suspicion that Hoffman isn't quite the hero that he presents himself as and is intent on proving to the world that Hoffman has taken over John Kramer's mission.

Meanwhile, five strangers wake up in a warehouse with collars around their necks. Will they discover their shared connection and escape Hoffman's latest trap?
