Salespeople evolve. It would help if you were cognizant of this evolution. You are going to evolve whether you want to or not. You can't control evolution, but you can control the influencers during the process. If you become a great salesperson, your hardest task is to stay fresh and relevant. The problem is most salespeople begin searching in the wrong place. They are looking for new ways new methods. THERE MUST BE A SMARTER, MORE STATE-OF-THE-ART WAY! 
NOPE! 
Maybe some new prospecting methods as filler or gravy, but the truth is that rapport building, value building, and basic closing skills will never be replaced by technology. Selling hasn't changed much over the past 100 years, maybe even 1000s. Whatever method you used to get you where you are is likely what struggling reps are missing later in their career. The mantra of selling has and always will;
