Description

We’ve been broadcasting our presence for about 85 years now, with radio, television, and radar, essentially spamming space with all kinds of messages. What would we do if someone answers back? What if our message reaches someone, or something, hostile? Others argue that we should be trying to communicate with whoever might be out there. But who should do the talking? And what would we say?

Anyway, not just standard tarestrial transmitters broadcast. around earth. Hams communicate on, HF, VHF, UHF, and microwaves. Some of Wich is directed inadvertently or intenally into space. We do satellite and moon bounce communications. We can operate at power levels of 100 Watts to 1500 W. And our antennas have gain. So there's plenty of RF beaming off earth. Besides, gmrs, murs, and cb radio. There's still FM and AM broadcast radio. Even though it's been alowed to be distoryed.

"...aliens who happen to have their radio transmitter set to..." It's not transmitter but receiver. Transmitter is talking. Receiver is for listening.
