S2 Ep 6 My daughter's sextortion stole her life with Carol Todd
Description
CONTENT WARNING - This episode talks about sextortion, cyberbullying and suicide.
In this episode, Kristi speaks with Carol Todd, founder of the Amanda Todd Legacy not-for-profit organisation based in British Columbia, Canada.
Amanda was 15 years old when she took her own life by suicide due to being sexually exploited and cyber-bullied online which led to physical abuse and alienation by her peers.
5 weeks before her death, Amanda shared her story on YouTube. Since 2012, the video has been viewed over 50 million times and is used in educating children on the dangers of sextortion and cyberbullying.
