This week, we’re talking about the collective cathartic release we had watching The Battle of Montgomery. Some call it the Riverwalk Rumble and others Fade in the Water. Regardless, many of us felt like we could finally take a deep breath while watching the collective actions of those who came to the aid of a Black man being brutalized at the hands of a group of white men and women. Seeing every angle of Aquamayne swimming across that river or Unc swinging that folding chair was less about the violence and more about the instant karma, accountability, and people banding together to say we’re not gonna take it anymore!
