Description

Lindsey Earl is a graduate student at Illinois State University’s Stevenson Center for Community & Economic Development completing her professional practice with Change Happens. Her major responsibilities include spearheading disaster relief services after Hurricane Harvey, writing and editing grants, program design, and assisting with a comprehensive, resident-driven neighborhood plan. Outside of work, Lindsey lives at a sustainable, egalitarian housing co-operative in the Greater Third Ward. Originally, Lindsey is from Littleton, Colorado, and has a B.A. in Environmental Sociology from Colorado State University. After two years of AmeriCorps NCCC Pacific Region, Lindsey entered the Stevenson Center as a Cultural Anthropology Fellow. For her thesis, Lindsey is researching occupational culture (police, city government, and homeless services) in relation to the system of homeless encampment eviction.
