Episode Notes
In this Episode of Last Year's Horror, we're joined by award winning horror author, John Langan. John has published two novels and four short story collections, with another on the way. His 2016 novel, The Fisherman, won the Bram Stoker Award for superior achievement in a novel and the This Is Horror award for novel of the year. His latest short story collection is Children of the Fang and Other Genealogies. In this interview, we talk about how he got into horror, why some critics don’t take horror seriously, whether the universe is really as cruel as some horror stories make it seem, and what kind of horror movies does a literary giant like him enjoy?
