Gary is playing the ‘sickness’ card as he tries to convince Yvonne that he was too poorly to go to the job interview that Yvonne had arranged for him. While back in the 40’s, there are no fake illnesses, just a serious illness, as Phoebe is hospitalised with pneumonia, leaving Gary worried for her life, which will see him go to extreme lengths to make her better again. With Gary’s full attention on Phoebe, Gary is left stunned when Yvonne reveals her own secret, leaving Gary struggling to juggle two relationships that are fifty years apart.
