What does your wife mean when she says, "I'm Fine."
It means she’s overwhelmed, bro. It means that she does not have the capacity or the exact words to tell you the depths of her ocean of overwhelm. It means she wants to be OK. She is trying to be OK. But in order to be OK she has to process the weight and the gravity of what’s on her chest and she doesn’t have the wherewithal to tell you the about the universe and stars that are circling every cell in her body at the moment.
This may sound dramatic, but as a woman I can tell you, it’s the truth.
