Ali’s son, Muhammad Ibn al-Hanafiyah رضي الله عنهم said his father never spoke ill of Uthmaan رضي الله عنه.

Ali رضي الله عنه: “Whoever speaks ill of Uthmaan رضي الله عنه is like the one who tries to stab someone that is behind him, by stabbing though his own stomach!”.

Talha رضي الله عنه was of the last to pledge to Uthmaan رضي الله عنه. Uthmaan رضي الله عنه said: “Should you want, I will step down”. Talha رضي الله عنه said no, you will lead and gave Uthmaan رضي الله عنه the pledge.

The love between Uthmaan, Ali and Talha رضي الله عنهم was such.
