You, Me, and IMDB Synopses:

* You: An unrepentant nazi founds out the hard way that justice delayed is not justice denied

* Me: A Nazi piece of crap visits the concentration camp he ran but the ghosts there have a few words for him

IMDB: A former German SS captain returns to Dachau concentration camp and begins reminiscing on the power he enjoyed there, until he finds himself on trial by those who died at his hands.

Discussion:

Initial thoughts

One of Serling’s finest efforts

Light touch and heavy touch

Remembering with pleasure

Truth run away from… he goes back to Dachau

Stray Observations

“Functioned as I was told”

A go-to defense that never works. Taught to military 23:28 ramble on

The hanging victims on tv seem bold

The gate closes and locks by itself but he doesn’t freak out

Such good times – a dude in the window in the shot…

Memorials in general (OKC building, 9/11, etc)

Impressive

What do you rate the episode?

Both of us give it an A

Choose your Own Endventure

Paul – He’s recognized and tried as a Nazi after going back to town as a mad man

Brandon – An extension of the ending. Someone from the town actually reports Lutze and though he’s insane, he’s still tried as a Nazi. It’s not enough that he’s in anguish… he’s gotten away by being incognito
