Several checks go missing from a local business. It’s not the sort of low-level crime that would necessarily land at the top of Ret. Detective David’s list, but this is a small town and the son of the owners is a felon so police bring him in for questioning. As Detective David peels back the layers of the onion, a complex, criminal conspiracy leads the investigation all the way to the Mexican border.
Special Guest: “Classic” Retired Detective David
Detective David (Retired) served 10 years as a Scout in the U.S. Army, followed by 20 years in Law Enforcement starting as a from Patrol Officer and retiring as a Detective Lieutenant. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Forensic Psychology. While he was on active duty as a police officer he worked Patrol, SWAT, Criminal Investigations, Compliance and Internal Affairs Investigations, and also served as a Special Operations Commander. He currently supervises investigations for a large transportation company and is the father of three girls.

First podcast I found that I actually binged all seasons and now patiently waiting for season 9!! If ya haven’t checked them out yet I definitely wld ya won’t be sorry!!!
This has been one of the best episodes! The story is amazing, but the story telling is even bettter.
Amazing episode. The original suspect had zero involvement in the outcome, but what an astonishing journey of cruelty, havoc and nonsense, created by criminals.
