SARANYU & SURYA (A Rig Veda Story Retold)
Description
In this episode of Storytelling with Shweta, we will hear the story of Saranyu and Surya -- better known as The Goddess of Twilight and Clouds and her husband the Sun-God. This is a retelling of a story that can originally be traced back to the Rig Veda from almost 3500 years ago.
This family-friendly story is best for all who enjoy stories from the Mahabharata, the Ramayana, Indian mythology and South Asian Folk tales.
