Description
The South African Weather Service has dismissed allegations of corruption and governance failure as "unfounded" and "misleading". The entity is currently engaged in a wage dispute with a labour union operating within the organisation, which SAWS says is behind some of the claims. The entity's Executive Management is accused of procurement manipulation, financial mismanagement, unchecked executive power and a culture of impunity.
