In this fast paced world, we as a people. focuses on the accelerated dependability of the high-tech society with very low moral standards, instead of finding fault against one another, we should "Seek the Lord while HE may be found, call upon HIM while He is near" (Isa. 55:6.) 

Just the mere fact that you are reading these words, should let you know that you are interested in growing closer to GOD. Yes; most certainly, a good reason to grow closer to GOD, is to have a relationship with GOD. 

Think with me for a minute . . . when we meet someone that we like, love, admire, or interested in, we go all out.  We do our best to find out everything we can about that person. What size shoes they wear, whether they like pizza, Coke, Fruit Punch, or Pepsi. We may even fall in love with this person, and just want to be with them . . . as "they" say--I want to spend the rest of my life with you . . . the interpretation (in most cases) I want to tell many "lies" to you, for without GOD it is difficult to tell the truth.

Sometimes, people be just talking bull feces, and sometimes say things that they do not mean, or even realizing the severity of some of their falsehoods.   Sometimes, people don't say what they mean . . . holding it all in until they explode or implode. 

 . . . but GOD always says what HE means and means what HE says; and in John 9:31 , GOD makes it make sense, and tells us plainly; GOD DO NOT HEAR SINNERS! However, 2nd Corinthians 6:2 allows us to understand that when we are really ready to receive JESUS CHRIST as your LORD and SAVIOR . . . then and only then will GOD listen to any sinner.  

So if you think GOD is listening to you, and you have not received JESUS CHRIST as your personal LORD and SAVIOR, you should be able to pull a million dollars worth of pennies out of your left pants pocket.

Prayer is simply talking with GOD . . . you talk with everybody else, why not talk to the only one who can truly love you . . . all the time. This is "your" time for a true salvation, and you cannot buy it from your pastor with tithes and offerings. Cry out to GOD for yourself . . . HE is waiting for you, please don't be too late.

I can only tell you the truth . . . and truth is the best way to express GOD's love.
