It’s been a huge week at Sports Car Safari, and we’ll debrief what’s happened. First up, SCS Issue 03 is printed and ready, and we’ll share how you can get your hands on a copy! Second, and (perhaps) more frighteningly, we’re launching our first SCS Project Car! They say that there’s no such thing as a cheap Porsche. And that, like a boat, the two happiest days of cheap Porsche ownership are the day you buy it and the day you sell it. Our co-editor, @agr_andrew, has put all that commonsense advice aside and has bought a (very) cheap 986 Boxster that needs a few things. But hold your sniggers, there’s a lot to love here, and the story of how he came to find and then buy it is a good one. We’ll be taking SCS readers along for the ride in the coming months – will it end up with a glorious Swiss road trip, or a failed IMS bearing, a blown engine and dashed dreams? Let’s find out!
