Description

Robert Milder is a designer, an environmentalist and the founder of Van de Sant- a sustainable design furniture company that makes fully circular furniture using recycled plastic gathered from land and oceans.

Yet as sustainability gets more and more popular, the traditional furniture industry still uses more than two billion trees annually to make its products; trees cut legally and illegally. Van de Sant started with the mission to stop deforestation and plastic pollution.

In this episode we talk about responsible production and consumption, the challenges in the furniture industry, and the opportunity to shift towards full circularity.
