Guest Bio: Derrick Espadas, born in East Los Angeles in 1975, overcame early challenges with shyness and a neurological condition called Charcot Marie Tooth. Despite academic setbacks, including a struggle with addiction, he found his calling in accounting. Graduating with honors, Derrick earned his B.S. in Accounting and Management from the University of Arizona, followed by an MBA from Syracuse University. Now pursuing doctoral studies at Case Western University, Derrick focuses on "Title Prestige" and its impact on decision-making. With a passion for teaching, he recently led courses on Franchising Fundamentals at the University of Louisville. Derrick resides in Tucson with his wife Brenda and their three beloved dogs.
