Russ is finally set to release his 6th feature film Staycation worldwide in 2025. We say finally because this film began its funding campaign while attempting to finish another film in 2020. However, dealing with Covid was only the start of challenges for this highly acclaimed Director, with over 400 awards and 200+ movie nominations.

Russ is back! In Part 1, he and Dave catch up a range of subjects, so we’ll get some updates on his latest award winning movies such as Occupants, Routine and the Assassins Apprentice movies. But that’s just the beginning! We’ll also get insights into the journey of movie making and the hardships that go along with it, including personal losses that lead to some moving moments of dedication and reflection of hope that will stir the heart.
All this and more as we get primed for Part 2 and the backstory of Staycation, which is already a multi film festival award winner!
