Alice deals with the aftermath of that bad decision at the end of the last episode. Jimmy and Paul continue to spar over the best way to treat Sean. Sean must deal with a regression to his fighting tendencies brought about by the unresolved trauma with his dad, exacerbated by working with him every day. Brian has a crisis of confidence as Charlie starts the process of trying to find a child to adopt. A new "Derek" has entered the fray as Gabby attempts to move on from her fling with Jimmy. And a fateful interaction with Louis spells out some potential future conflict for the entire group.
