• Jill returns to confront her sons: Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has returned to Genoa City to deal with her feuding sons, Billy and Cane, over their struggle for power at Chancellor-Winters. Her presence is intensifying their rivalry.
• Cane's manipulative plan: Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), using an AI program, is attempting a corporate takeover, causing chaos and alienating former allies like Michael Baldwin.
• Billy reopens old wounds: Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) has become more reckless as he tries to thwart Cane's takeover. His mother's return and his choices have caused him to clash with Jill, reopening old wounds.
• A shaky alliance against Cane: In a rare move, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are considering setting aside their rivalry to deal with Cane's scheme. 

• Victor and Jack agree on a plan: Despite their differences, Victor and Jack have agreed on a plan to deal with the threat posed by Cane.
• Claire breaks up with Kyle: Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) has ended her relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and left town with Holden Novak (Nathan Owens).
