Today on Stories of Salem, we’re chatting with the Founder of Black Joy Oregon, Julianne Jackson. Jackson is a lifelong Oregonian and leads nonviolent rallies across the state intended to bring visibility to the Black Community.
Listen to hear how Jackson cares for her Oregonian neighbors, including her experience collecting and distributing mutual aid, evacuating livestock during the Santiam fires, and starting a community farm to benefit Black families.
