The band, consisting of Jem Siow, Aaron Siow, Josh Clayton, Dennis Vichidvongsa, and Kane Vardon, received an eighty thousand Australian dollar check. BARKAA won the New South Wales First Nations Music Prize for Big Tidda, while Ninajirachi secured the New South Wales breakthrough artist of the year award.
