On this episode of ScreenRun, The Lady Wan and Chris Scalzo are joined by Claire of W-Rated Podcast to discuss John Carpenter’s, or perhaps Universal’s remake of ‘Village Of The Damned’.  It’s 1995 and Carpenter defies typecasting bias by bringing in Christopher Reeve, Mark Hamill, and Kirstie Alley to tell his version of those dang weird alien brood.  Focusing this time from the mother’s perspective, is Carpenter able to push past classic studio interference and deliver an entertaining update?   Or are pressures just to difficult to overcome?
