My pastor asked me preach at our local church as he was out of town for the weekend. We have been working through the book of James in a message series called "Life Apps: Living Jesus Every Day," using a metaphor of smart phone apps to illustrate living as Christians. 

My passage was from James 3:1-12, regarding the tongue, especially, "How great a forest is set ablaze by such a small fire! And the tongue is a fire, a world of unrighteousness. The tongue is set among our members, staining the whole body, setting on fire the entire course of life, and set on fire by hell... With it, we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God...  My brothers, this ought not to be."
