Description
In 2012, Spokanes city budget cuts led to the formation of SYSCA, a community center association managing nine centers. Parks and Recreation provides funding, but concerns arise as funding hasnt increased since 2013, making it hard to cover operational costs and expand programs. A new application process, starting in 2027, will use a 100-point scoring rubric to ensure a more equitable distribution of resources.
