Sans for Dans with Adam Linder and Charlotte Sprogøe
Description
"Working with dance is to push a future of how we can use our bodies"
“What we understand as dance can be expanded”
The conversation is in English with Danish introduction - see English shownotes below.
ENGLISH:
Choreographer Adam Linder has worked on choreographic pieces at some of the world's largest museums – and he is now presenting a new work for Danish Dance Theatre – DRIP TEKHNE.
In the studio with rehearsal director Patricia Seron Pawlik and project developer Anne Sophie Gertz, he meets Charlotte Sprogøe, a curator specializing in experimental exhibition formats. The curator and the choreographer talk to us about what choreography and the living body in a museum bring to art and the viewer, what happens when you hire a choreographer on an hourly basis, and how Adam's different approaches to movement unfold in the dance studio and the upcoming piece.
