Description

The remarkable true story of Sarah Rector (1902 – 1967). Born in servitude to Native Americans


Sarah becomes the first black child millionaire. Throughout her life, she is hounded by the press, harassed for loans, coerced by her family, controlled by a white guardian, and deceived by her husband.


She spends her life fighting to get out of the spotlight until she finally loses it all and finds love.
