I wrote this song when I got tired of craving for the world and desired the Word of God instead...when I found out that being a friend of the world meant I was an enemy of God, I had to repent and believe the gospel so that I could be saved. And the Lord gave me his Holy Ghost and now I live unto him and not to myself and the world and the devil or the will of man
