Dr. Madhu Rathore, is a mom to a bubbly two-year-old. She’s passionate about spreading awareness on the impact of excess screen time on young minds. Through her Instagram account, @thescreenfreeparent, she’s connected with over 83,000 fellow parents, sharing research-backed insights and fun activities to replace screen time. With a PhD in marketing and strategy, she brings a unique perspective to this discussion. Her academic background has equipped her to dive deep into peer-reviewed studies and translate complex findings into digestible content for everyone, from academic journals to simple reels on social media.  Even before becoming a mom, she noticed the alarming trend of kids glued to screens. But it wasn't until she had her daughter that she delved into the research, discovering the undeniable negative impact excessive screen time can have on young children's development. She believe every child deserves a screen-free childhood filled with enriching experiences.
