📘 Grammar of the Day

1. 不能 / 不可以 — cannot / not allowed

• 不好意思，我今天不能去。 (Sorry, I can’t go today.)
• 这里不可以抽烟。 (You can’t smoke here.)

1. 有点儿 + adjective — a bit … (softens refusals)

• 今天有点儿忙。 (I’m a bit busy today.)
• 这个时间有点儿难。 (This time is a bit difficult.)

1. 还是…吧 — better to… / let’s … instead

• 你很累，我们还是明天吧。 (You’re tired, let’s do it tomorrow instead.)
• 我们还是下次见吧。 (Let’s meet next time instead.)

📝 Key Vocabulary (10 items with examples)

1. 不好意思 (bù hǎo yì si) — sorry / excuse me

• 不好意思，我今天没空。

1. 可能 (kě néng) — maybe / possibly

• 我可能去不了。
