Sometimes, it's important to scale down. Especially in terms of what you want to share.

There is a lot that we are willing to share with those close to us, but not the rest of the world. That's how social media started, but it took a dark turn and started making user data the product. This has had a number of negative effects on the world.

But that's what Adam and Markus are trying to change with StoryArk

The focus is on close connection, secure sharing, and trust.

This was a great conversation. It's not always easy to build things the right way. It's harder to monetize when you aren't willing to take advantage of your users' data.

Especially when competing against "free" products. But that narrative is changing and Adam and Markus are providing ways for us to rediscover connection in smaller social networks.
