Could you not find a 3m diameter sphere already in existence in the UK, to use that as the sun? Would that be cheating? Or if you find one of 4.5m, scale up the rest? Imagine using the Millennium dome as the reference, seeing if there are locations in the UK with space for the planets and inflate large balloons there? 😎
