Recently I applied for a grant for my organization and I was rejected... I have applied for many grants before in the past and I have always gotten the same feedback “No” and when I asked for further details as to why... I am always met with silence. This is a struggle I believe many Black businesses and entrepreneurs face where they are being denied access to bank loans, grants or investment opportunities due to the color of their skin. It has been a struggle for me in trying to do good work through my own organization while trying to maintain its integrity. Listen as I share a bit more on this issue !
