Season 2, Episode 1: Carrie
Description
Being a teenager is hard. Being a unpopular teenager is even harder. Being an unpopular teenager who is abused by your overly religious mother can be utterly overwhelming. So some might find it understandable why Carrie White, with her newly developed psychic powers, took out an entire high school gym's worth of kids.
How Carrie got these powers is not important – what she does with them is. More importantly how it puts her closer to the state of the Real by giving her what she wants – for people to stop laughing at her. From victim to villain, Carrie represents the person we want to be...and the person we're scared we are.
Written and recorded by Sara Roncero-Menendez, Mixed by Angela Yih, Original music by Hoa Pham, Logo designed by Priyanka Bose.
