The Dual of the Greats marches up the hill hoorah, hoorah! This week we take on our first ever animated movies in AntZ and A Bug’s Life. Both movies came out in the year 1998 (somebody needs to really look into the 97-98 period and all the doppelganger movies) and feature a plot of an ant colony that has to protect itself from external threats attempting to steal their resources. It’s there first ever 

AntZ was one of the first major Deamworks productions that solidified them as a competitor to Pixar. Before Shrek, before Kung Fu Panda, before How to Train Your Dragon, there was AntZ and it’s star-studded cast. But it goes up against the mighty Titan that is Pixar. Even back in 1998 they were young but had solidified their position as the leaders in CGI animation. Which one will get the nod? Listen and find out this week!
