As the host of the Junior Christian Teaching Bible Lesson Program, David Liebe Hart became about as well known as a public-access personality could. With his psychedelic, surreal and sometimes unsettling performances (incorporating puppets, songs and green screen), David made himself memorable to anyone who came across him. Two such people were Tim and Eric, who would go on to use him often, in their many projects, to great comic effect. There's a debate on how much of David is a crafted persona, which Lee attempted to try to get to the bottom of in this.
