Today Josh is joined by the adventurous and ambitious Alexandra Adams who is a deaf-blind medical student. Telling Josh her story of determination and strength during times of poor health, Alexandra is hoping to change the way people percieve disability and difference in the NHS. Stressing the need for empathy and understanding when treating patience Alexandra talks about the moments in her hospital care that gave her insight into what being a good doctor involves.
