Serena speaks about what lead her to becoming a children's author, how she centres her characters on well-known South Asian experiences of her own and also about her books being universally relatable. She also touches on how she shifted her own mindset to write books, how she looks after her own mental health and how she's fulfilled her dream of writing later on in her life.
