In today’s special Share the Light episode, Nicolet Bell & Stacey Thacker talk about cultivating simple, meaningful traditions that help families “share the light” of Christ during the Christmas season.

This week’s featured listener story comes from Brianna, who takes her children on a Christmas light scavenger hunt while retelling the Christmas story—helping her kids become active participants in understanding Jesus as the Light.

Nicolette and Stacey also reflect on their own family traditions, including Advent wreaths, car-line prayers, and sweet (and funny!) moments of explaining spiritual truths to young children.

The episode closes with a prayer from Stacey reminding us that God has called His followers to shine brightly in a world longing for light.

Prayer: Father, thank you for the reminder that as your followers, we are not to live hidden lives. We are to shine because of our relationship with your son, the light of the world.
