Retail crime in Canada has become a national crisis, threatening profitability, employee safety, and consumer trust. Despite increased security investments and technology, crime levels continue to rise.
B.C. is introducing legislation to fast-track construction of the North Coast Transmission Line (NCTL). The multi-billion-dollar project will double electricity capacity between Prince George and Terrace.
Developers are pulling projects or converting them to rentals as presales weaken and costs stay high.
