Fresh off the release of her sophomore album, 'How to Let Go,' Norwegian pop star Sigrid sits down with host Mathias Rosenzweig and astrophysicist Lia Medeiros to learn all about the mysterious and terrifying subject of black holes. What happens if you get sucked into one? How did we predict they existed? And, with this episode being released just a few days after new photos emerged of our very own galaxy's black hole...how the hell can we photograph something so far away?
Our expert Lia in fact wrote one of the six main papers that came out last Thursday to announce the Sgr A* results. Specifically, she lead the 6th paper, which focuses on using our results to test Einstein’s theory of gravity.
