Plenary session of the Executive Council begins. Chairman provides factual presentation, Equilibria and Forestia make statements. Technical briefing by CTBTO staff on the circumstances of the seismic event in question.Statements by groups of countries (no more than 2 minutes each): six regional groups (as per Annex I of the Treaty), NAM, EU, and P-5. Individual countries may take floor for no more than 1 minute to provide clarification or other information about their country’s position.11:00-12:30 Country delegations work on their positions and hold consultations with other delegations.
