Singer-Songwriter, Producer and Multi-Instrumentalist - Dez Money
Description
Singer-Songwriter, Producer and Multi-Instrumentalist Dez Money calls in to The Junk and Jam Hour all the way from Malibu, to talk about his unique upbringing being surrounded by music - particularly as one of five children to the late and great, legend and rock icon, Eddie Money.
Ever-inspired by his father, Dez talks about how he started his own musicianship as a drummer, before finding his love and dedication to playing the bass, piano and guitar; the experience of joining his father on stage as the guitarist, playing alongside as a touring member; and eventually venturing off to front his very own band that also included two of his siblings, who all experienced the joys of performing - and being heckled - as openers for Eddie Money.
Also on topic: Dez talks about how family was a leading factor to his success, and how they lovingly encouraged and supported him in his endeavor to create and produce music of his very own - especially his father who called him nothing short of a, "great songwriter."
Dez also shares his latest track, entitled, 'Lost' - a soulful, gentle pop groove that recounts our desire for connectedness in a state of isolation, which critics have hailed as a song with, "masterfully crafted lyrics with solid vocals." We further talk about his forthcoming track, 'Trippin', another piece of music that showcases Dez's capacity for being an expert storyteller, who is freely exploring his versatility as a contemporary musician and songwriter.
