Cole Murphy, a dedicated 30-year-old ski patroller at Mammoth Mountain, tragically lost his life in an avalanche near Lincoln Mountain. Despite being rescued and rushed to the hospital, his injuries were critical. Known for his passion for the mountains and his job, Murphys death comes after a powerful storm hit California, causing avalanches and flash floods.
