A few months back someone asked me why I use the term alcohol free when I talk about my life now that I don't drink. I thought this was a great question and a topic we could tackle on today's episode. As with anything in life, this is certainly open to interpretation and I believe comes down to personal preference. I choose to use the term alcohol free when describing myself, but others may prefer a different term. And that's the beauty of our own individual journeys, we can use whatever term we are comfortable with. Leslie and I do define what the words mean to us and why we choose to say alcohol free, but as we express time and time again throughout this podcast, the world is not black and white. There isn't a right and wrong answer here. At the end of the day, whether you call yourself sober, alcohol free, sober curious, etc., it means you see alcohol for what it is and are at least questioning its place in your life!
