Sobriety is spoken about more and more these days, but, from my experience, even more within the skate community. We want to create a place for people to openly or anonymously tell their stories about addiction, sobriety and the road ahead. It’s a cliche, but to read someone’s story has a significant chance of affecting someone’s life - you don’t have to be famous to do this. January can be a challenging time for many people battling, discovering or identifying their own issues and or relationships with substance abuse. Each year the skateboarding community becomes more and more open (in comparison to a lot of other sports) about addiction and sobriety. Ross sits with Mary Jane and Jamie this week to discuss their journeys and sobriety. As complicated, challenging and rewarding as it is.
