Who were the sons of Anakim? In the book of Deuteronomy, we see the children of Israel who went to scout the land of Canaan coming back afraid of the Anakims.

These were great giants that look so imposing, the children of Israel lost all emuna (faith) in the Most High and refused to go into the land to possess it.

Nevertheless, did the Most High move the obstacle from before them? No.

They were brought through 40 years of sojourning, trials and chastening to perfect them. This the Most High did to the point that when Yahusha (Joshua) was ready to lead them into the land, they defeated the children of the Anakim.

Hence when we are to enter the land, there will be seemingly insurmountable obstacles to keep us from entering. It will take great faith to get us to overcome these obstacles.

Did you know that today we are again faced with the sons of Anak? These are trying desperately to keep us from entering into the land.
