Authorities in South Sudan’s Unity State are calling for humanitarian assistance to address a crisis caused by flooding. Kenya's Senate will proceed with its impeachment hearing against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua today, despite his absence from the proceedings after his lawyer said he had fallen ill. Egypt’s government has denied allegations from the head of the Rapid Support Forces that Cairo is backing the Sudanese Armed Forces in Sudan’s war.
