Alexandra Day, recipient of the Provost's PhD award, joins Ronan Daly to discuss the background, orchestration and international legacy of some of the earliest and most significant trials held in the Soviet Union. With Alexandra's project nearing its completion, she also highlights some valuable lessons we may learn when it comes to the promises and pitfalls which abound in current attempts to impose supranational legal orders.
